The Joy Of Beading By Anna Borelli is more than just a jewelry making project book. Although it has over two dozen jewelry making projects inside, it also covers décor and accessories (such as a beaded embroidery scarf) and gorgeous beaded plants and flowers that can be used in décor or in jewelry making projects. There are many unique jewelry-making projects, including my personal favorites, The Cloud Necklace, The Blooming Necklace and The Bead And Cord Necklace. Other projects include beaded rings, beaded clips, bead crochet and macramé.

Although the book is worth the price on the jewelry making projects alone, what really makes it special is all the wonderful beaded flowers and plants…many of which would make gorgeous beaded pins and other jewelry embellishments in their own right. The beaded stalks of wheat is some of the most gorgeous beading I have seen in a long time, and my mother saw the book and is begging me to make her a sheaf of them!

Other projects include a beaded key chain, a beaded cord belt, purse handles, and directions on writing a name in wire and beading over it.

If you want to get a head start on your holiday gift-giving crafts this book will give you tons of ideas and projects to start with!
